SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP

The Department of Mechanical Engineering had organised a two-day workshop on SAP Business Builder – The Agent Game on 9th and 31st October 2025. Its objective was to build data literacy, business storytelling, and data-driven decision-making skills using SAP Analytics Cloud. SAP Business Builder is a free cloud-based platform that transforms learning into interactive experiences through real-world scenarios.

Students analysed data, answered scenario-specific questions, and competed on leaderboards with instant feedback. The workshop provided hands-on training with The Agent Game, where teams worked on business challenges using real-time data. Interactive gameplay helped students apply analytics tools to solve complex problems effectively.

Sessions guided participants step by step from platform basics to advanced analytics. Students showed enthusiasm and precision in interpreting business data. The workshop aimed to introduce SAP Business Builder, strengthen data literacy, and enhance decision-making through gamified learning.

By the end, students understood fundamentals, applied critical thinking, and visualised data trends for informed decisions. They also appreciated gamification as a tool for developing analytical skills. Activities included platform demonstrations, hands-on scenarios, visualisation exercises, team competitions, and feedback discussions.

Student feedback was highly positive, praising the interactive and practical approach. Faculty observed strong engagement, teamwork, and innovation throughout. Overall, the workshop successfully bridged theory and practice, preparing students for data-driven roles in academia and industry.
