Workshop on Design Drawing and Engineering Visualization
On 13th March 2025, the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a workshop titled “Design Drawing and Engineering Visualization,” led by Mr. Balachandra N Pawar, Founder and Director of Seshnag Technologies. The workshop aimed to provide insights into design drawing and engineering visualization, crucial for modern mechanical engineering and product development.
Attended by 4th semester students and faculty, the session covered fundamental concepts, the importance of accurate design drawings, modern software tools, and emerging trends like AR and VR. Participants engaged in theoretical discussions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on activities with industry-standard CAD software.
The workshop received positive feedback for its detailed demonstrations and practical exposure, significantly enhancing students’ understanding of the design process and its real-world applications. The department expressed gratitude to Mr. Pawar and looked forward to organizing similar events in the future.
The session was delivered by Mr. Narasimha Naidu, Founder & CEO of STEMx. His insights captivated the students, sparking active participation and thought-provoking discussions. Students posed compelling questions about the practical applications of robotics and 3D printing in modern manufacturing. They were particularly intrigued by how these emerging technologies are reshaping career prospects in the dynamic realm of Industry 4.0.
