“Training On Software in COE in Visualizing Engineering” in association with ALTEM TECHNOLOGIES

The department of Mechanical Engineering, New Horizon College of Engineering, organized a two day Training Program for the Faculty members of New Horizon College of Engineering on “Training on Software in COE in Visualizing Engineering”. This program was organized in association with ALTEM technologies. The course content of the training program was Introduction to VTU – Visualizing Software’s and Capabilities, Introduction to Apex graphical user interface and tools and commands, Hands on workshop, Linear static analysis of shaft, Compound bar problems, Buckling analysis of cylinder, Normal modal analysis, piston cylinder analysis, Beam problems and various cross sections, Industrial workshop – car floor (Preprocessing stage), Introduction to software graphical user interface and capabilities, Hands on session on various tools commands in Adams, Hands on workshop, Stone falling under gravity, Projectile motion, Slider crank mechanism, Toggle Mechanism, Slotted lever mechanism, Simple pendulum, Spring problem and Introduction to MSC – Skill connect. The program was successfully completed.
