Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) organized the 20th edition of South and South East Asia’s biggest exhibition on machine tool and manufacturing technologies at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, from 19 – 25 January 2023. IMTEX 2023 has Tooltech and Digital Manufacturing as concurrent shows.

IMTEX is a flagship event for the Indian metal cutting industry and will showcase the latest trends as well as technological refinements from India and other global players. Tooltech is a premier event concurrent showcasing machine tool accessories, metrology and CAD/CAM cutting tools, tooling systems and current trends in the tooling industry. Sensors, robots, software, cobots – all connected seamlessly will be on display across aisles in Digital Manufacturing. Companies can procure technologies that goes beyond Industry 4.0.

i2 Pavilion (Industry – Institution Pavilion):

To enhance bonding of Industry and Academia linkage in the Indian machine Tool industry, IMTMA is organising the i2 Academia Pavilion at IMTEX 2023, from 19-25 Jan 2023 at HALL 3B, BIEC, Bangalore.

This is an excellent opportunity for Industry professionals in the domains of technology, Human Resource, Design, Production etc. to interact with renowned 22 Academic / R&D Institutions, participating in this year’s Pavilion, where they will show case their R&D capabilities in Metal working field.

The Mechanical Engineering Department of New Horizon College of Engineering was also short listed, from over a 120 Educational Institutions for presenting the Stall at IMTeX-2023. The Faculties, Dr. Nagendra J and Prof. Rakesh C, presented Table-top Prototype working model on “SMART INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING IoT”, which is highly relevant for the latest Industry 4.0, which was the main theme of the exhibition. The jury members applauded the work done.
