Industrial Visit to Nandi Vishwavidyalaya
The Department of Mechanical Engineering organised an on-site industrial training for the 6th semester students at Nandi Vishwavidyalaya from 5th to 20th February 2026. The programme focused on Electric Vehicles, Hybrid Electric Vehicles, and live engine overhauling. Students received hands-on exposure to advanced automotive engine technology and HEV Systems. The training covered special tools for engine overhauling with real-time case studies using advanced diagnostic tools.
Sessions also introduced EV fundamentals, servicing tools, and safety practices. Participants learned about various battery types and gained practical experience in battery pack creation. The module on BEVs covered chargers, motors, servicing methods, and safety precautions. Multiple days were dedicated to intensive hands-on training in EV and HEV systems. Students practiced diagnostic procedures using several industry-graded tools.
The training strengthened the understanding of engine overhauling and modern automotive technologies. Participants developed greater awareness of industrial safety standards. Overall, the programme effectively bridged theoretical learning with practical industry exposure.
