Industrial Visit to IMTEX-2022

An initiative of IMTMA, IMTEX is a flagship event for the Indian metal cutting industry. It is South Asia’s apex exhibition showcasing the latest trends as well as technological refinements from India and other global players. The mega event attracts visitors from a wide spectrum of manufacturing and ancillary industries including key decision and policy makers as well as industry captains who are keen to source latest technologies and manufacturing solutions for their product lines.
Tooltech is a premier event concurrent showcasing machine tool accessories, metrology and CAD/CAM cutting tools, tooling systems and current trends in the tooling industry. Sensors, robots, software, cobots – all connected seamlessly will be on display across aisles in Digital Manufacturing. Companies can procure technologies that goes beyond Industry 4.0.
The Department of mechanical Engineering, New Horizon College of Engineering is a part of the IMTEX-2022, presented the R&D projects at the Exhibition. The notable project presented at the Exhibition was “Fabrication of Smart Solar Based Fire Fighting Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV)”. The Project received the “Certificate of Merit”, for “Outstanding Research Work and Presentation”.
