Expert Talk- Opportunities in Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering had organized an insightful expert talk on “Opportunities in Mechanical Engineering.” on 18/07/2024 for 4 Sem students. Mr. Thangaraj R, a distinguished Corporate Trainer and Consultant with extensive expertise in coaching on 5S, quality improvement, lean methodologies, and adherence to standards emphasized the evolving landscape of mechanical engineering, highlighting the integration of digital technologies and automation. Various career paths available for mechanical engineers were outlined, including roles in design, manufacturing, research and development, quality control, and maintenance. Mr. Thangaraj also shared insights into emerging sectors such as renewable energy, robotics, and aerospace, which are creating new job opportunities for mechanical engineers.
