Career development and Trends in Aerospace Manufacturing

On the 30th of November, the Department of Mechanical Engineering of New Horizon College of Engineering hosted an Expert lecture on the topic, ‘Career development and Trends in Aerospace Manufacturing’ through a zoom session. This guest lecture was coordinated by Prof. Kemapraju C. R., and over seen by the Dean and Head of the Department, Dr. M.S. Ganesha Prasad.
The Distinguished guest speaker was Mr. Ayyappakrishnapadas. M, who is an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, with Rolls Royce India Pvt Ltd.The session started at 2:00 PM. Prof. Kemapraju C. R., delivered the welcome speech and introduced the guest speaker. The speaker gave the presentation onTtheterms of Interest in Aerospace, Importance of Safety, Importance of Standards and systems, Basic Certification, Manufacturing Processes of Interest and Trends in Manufacturing.At the end of the presentation, there was a Question and Answer session where students actively cleared their doubts and concerns regarding the subject.The whole presentation was covered in duration of two hours. Overall, it was a very good and informative session where the students learned a lot regarding the subject.
