Alumni Talk on Opportunities in Defense Services
Mr. Jagannath Gurumurthy Alumni of Mechanical Department in the year 2009 to 2013 and at present serving our Country as Lieutenant Commander in INDIAN NAVY.
He was selected to Indian Navy through University Entry Scheme during his 7th Semester of Engineering Course. He was commissioned into the engineering branch of Indian Navy in 2013. He has undergone various ship and shore appointments. Currently Jagannath is undergoing Defense sponsored M-Tech in Quality and Reliability Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology – Kharagpur. In the year 2019 he received award by Commendation as Commander in Chief for devotion to duty.
Mr. Jagannath G gave a online Alumni talk on Opportunities in Defense Services dated on 07th May 2021 @ 11 AM addressing out our pre final year and final year students on how to go about and how is life at Indian Navy and motivating them to take up Defense services as their carrier. Students interacted with the speaker and clarified all their doubts and it was a very interactive session.
