The Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted an expert lecture on “Synergizing Robotics and 3D Printing: Transforming Manufacturing and Automation for the Future” on November 21, 2024. This session was designed exclusively for 7th-semester students pursuing the Industry 4.0 open elective course. The lecture aimed to explore how the convergence of robotics and 3D printing is revolutionizing manufacturing and automation, aligning with the principles of Industry 4.0.
The session was delivered by Mr. Narasimha Naidu, Founder & CEO of STEMx. His insights captivated the students, sparking active participation and thought-provoking discussions. Students posed compelling questions about the practical applications of robotics and 3D printing in modern manufacturing. They were particularly intrigued by how these emerging technologies are reshaping career prospects in the dynamic realm of Industry 4.0.
